Terms of service
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 17, 2026
IN SHORT
- Keep backups. It deletes only after verifying each copy, but irreplaceable files deserve a second home.

YOUR LICENSE
Buying the app gives you a personal license to use it on your own devices. It is licensed, not sold, and you may not resell, copy or redistribute it.
PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
Payment and refunds are handled by the store you bought the app from, under that store’s terms.
USING THE APP
Use it to copy your own photos and videos, or ones you have the right to copy.
DELETING FROM THE SOURCE
Off until you turn it on. Then each file leaves the camera or phone only after its copy passes a size check on this phone. A failing cable, card or phone can still lose data.
NO WARRANTY
Provided as is. As far as the law allows, the author isn’t liable for lost files or other harm from using it, and any liability is limited to the price you paid.
OPEN SOURCE
Built with rawler (LGPL-2.1), Android and Kotlin libraries (Apache 2.0), Rust crates (MIT or Apache 2.0) and fonts under the SIL Open Font License. See Open-source licenses.
CHANGES AND CONTACT
An update may change these terms; the date above says when, and you’ll be asked to accept them again. Questions: use the support contact on Darkroom’s Google Play listing.
